First Corinthians chapter three verse sixteen says, do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? You are the temple. Not a building. You. Your body is the house. Your spirit is the holy of holies where God lives. That means God is with you all the time. You do not have to go to a special place to find Him. He is inside you. When you pray, you are not shouting into empty space. You are talking to the God who lives in your spirit.
That also means that you carry God everywhere you go. To school. To practice. To the mall. To your friend’s house. Wherever you are, God is. And because God lives in you, you have access to His wisdom, His peace, His strength, and His love. You do not have to earn it. You just have to tap into it.
